The Origin Story

Forged between the sunlit coasts of Brazil and the historic vineyards of France, bilingualism was the foundational mechanic of my life. Yet, my professional background did not begin at the gaming table. I specialized in the high-stakes realm of legal and technical translation, eventually serving as an Official Sworn Interpreter for the Grenoble Court of Appeal.

In the halls of justice, there is zero margin for error. An "inventive" interpretation can alter the course of a life. That environment bound me to massive glossaries, strict syntax, and uncompromising accuracy. I learned to decode dense, labyrinthine systems, a discipline that translates perfectly into parsing heavy rulebooks and complex game states.

The Class Change

The legal realm demanded absolute precision, but there was no room for creative worldbuilding. The missing artifact, I soon realized, had been resting on my own shelves all along. I had grown up clearing the dinner table to map out sprawling cardboard kingdoms and spending weekends lost in the ink of graphic novels. Yet, I watched as brilliant mechanics and breathtaking narratives were walled off from French and Brazilian audiences by the formidable barrier of language.

Mustering my courage, I chose to forge a new path. I channeled the uncompromising rigor of a court interpreter directly into the tabletop industry, delving into the very architecture of game design alongside established entities like MarsHub and All About Games. Today, my calling extends across the entire development pipeline. Whether I am weaving the arcane logic of Lua scripts to breathe life into virtual tables, venturing into the mechanical wilds to hunt down edge cases, or forging the lore that gives a setting its soul, my mission remains absolute: to take exceptional creations international without sacrificing their essence. By swapping worlds, not just words, I ensure the mechanics hold their ground, and the narrative beats with a heroic heart.
